Oprah Interviews Paris Jackson
Last week the story was about Christina Aguilera discussing her role on The Voice, but this week we’ll change things up and discuss the latest Oprah interview with Paris Jackson.
Three years ago with the passing of her father Michael Jackson, who can ever forget a tearful Paris only 11-years-old at the time, breaking down in tears at her father’s memorial service.
Paris cried, “Daddy has been the best father you could ever imagine. And I just want to say I love him so much.” The world watched the young girl in heartbreak as she leaned on her aunts and uncles.
Now 14-years-old, Paris has grown up to be a remarkable young teenager. Her stunning blue eyes and gorgeous face has just made her one of People Magazine’s most beautiful people.
Paris recently signed on to act in her first movie role, following in Michael’s footsteps as a performer.
The young teen lives with her grandmother Catherine Jackson. The family moved out of Havenhurst to settle in a sunny mansion in the hills of California.
Oprah asked Paris, “Do you like it better than Havenhurst?”
“No,” said Paris. “Havenhurst is more at home.” The same home incidentally that Michael Jackson grew up in as a child. Ultimately his children went to stay there after their father’s untimely death.
Paris appeared to be a very typical 14-year-old. Still seemingly a tad shy and possibly a bit unsure of herself as everyone is at that age, the very sweet Paris talked of bullying at her school.
Enrolled in private school Paris said, “It’s more normal. It’s more fun. I mean the social life has gotten better.” She added, “There’s drama but I try to stay away from that.”
According to Paris the drama that she encounters in eighth grade is the other young girls.
“Have people tried to bully you? said Oprah.
“People have tried but it doesn’t always work,” said Paris. “At school and some people try to cyber-bully me.”
“They try to get to me with words but that doesn’t really work,” said Paris with a sly and confident smile on her face.
Oprah was very surprised and said, “I would think everybody wanted to be your friend.”
“A lot of people don’t like me,” said Paris. “Do you think they’re jealous?” asked Oprah. “Maybe, I don’t know,” said the blue-eyed beauty. Having found her new-found fame as well as a promising movie career it may be safe to say that jealousy comes with the territory.
Grandma Catherine was a bit worried about what Michael would think or want for her granddaughter when Paris asked if she could go the showbiz route. According to Catherine, “She kept begging and she kept saying please grandma so this is what she’s going to do.”
Even at a young age, an old family video of Paris from 2002 showed her telling her dad Michael she wanted to do what he did.
Paris also said she’s dreamed of acting sense she was a little girl. Her dreams are coming true. This year she landed the staring role in “Lundon’s Bridge” which is based on a young adult fantasy novel.
“I think it’s always been my passion and I just love it,” beamed Paris. “You can be like a totally different person. You can take on another character I think that’s so awesome.”
“Do you still have to have security every where you go?” asked Oprah. “Unfortunately yes,” said Paris.
Michael Jackson tried to shield the children’s identity from the paparazzi while he was alive. When they were young he would cover their faces with masks and scarves. Paris shed light on this for the first time.
“Do you remember when you were little and your face would be covered?” asked Oprah.
“I understand it now,” said Paris. “When we would go out without him we wouldn’t be recognized.” In other words, the children could go anywhere without their father and no one was aware that they were his children. This made it easier for them to have a normal childhood and be involved in activities without being hassled.
“He told us when he was younger that he didn’t really have a childhood,” said Paris. He wanted that for his children.
“Are you able to listen to his music?” said Oprah. Paris said that she dances when she hears his music. She shy’s away from sad songs of Michael’s at times. The song “You are Not Alone” is hard for her to listen to. “It makes me cry,” said Paris.
The very beautiful and loving young girl, Paris Jackson, seems to be following in her father’s footsteps. Her future looks bright as she continues to carry on Michael’s legacy.
Christina Aguilera Dishes On Her Fellow “Voice” Coaches
Billy Bush and Kit Hoover of “Access Hollywood Live” sat down with X-Tina to ask some interesting and somewhat uncomfortable questions about her male counterparts of “The Voice.”
“Let’s talk about the coaches,” said Hoover. “It’s all men out there. It’s a boys club.”
“How’s it being the only female out there representing?” asked Hoover.
“Are they gentlemen all the time to you?” followed Bush. “Of course not,” laughed Christina.
“Blake’s an unexpected great buddy. I love him to death,” said Christina. “Cee Lo is creative and interesting. Adam and I have great banter,” she joked. If you’re a fan of “The Voice” you may wonder at times if Adam and Christina even get along.
“No Adam’s great,” Christina giggled. “Sometimes we all can pick on each other but if someone else tries to pick on us it’s like hold up.”
According to Christina all of the coaches are family members in her eyes.
“It’s kind of like that brother/sister kind of family,” said Christina.
“Of all the boys who would be the best friend?” questioned Bush. “At this point I’d probably go to Blake,” said Christina.
Hoover asked, “ Who of the judges would be the best boyfriend?”
“No,” said Christina with a look of disgust. “That’s like a brother or something, now we’re getting into a weird incestual conversation.”
“Let’s get weirder who would be the best lover,” said Bush.
“Lover!” screamed Christina. “Maybe Cee Lo he’s a little creative.”
Of course “The Voice” fans know of two attributes that X-Tina doesn’t mind showing off at at all, both of which definitely stand out amongst the boys.
“You have something they don’t have,” joked Hoover. “You have two things they don’t have.”
“They’re the fifth judge,” joked Christina. “I’m a performer, I’m an entertainer, I’m an artist. The girls are a part of who I am.”
Of course Bush started clapping, “Let’s give it up for the girls.” All three clapped along with Bush.
How does Kevin Costner feel about Bobbi Kristina’s Reality TV Show?
Access Hollywood Live reporter Kristin Moran sat down for an exclusive interview with Kevin Costner to discuss long-time friend Whitney Houston and the direction daughter Bobbi Kristina is now heading with her new reality television show. 
“He opened up about his bodyguard co-star and friend Whitney Houston and his unforgettable eulogy,” said Access Hollywood reporter Billy Bush.
“Whitney was way too special to go so soon,” said Moran. “What do you think the take-away message is that we can give our daughters, young girls, give young people from that loss?” asked Moran.
“We all have a chance to look back on our lives,” said Costner. “When somebody goes too quick they don’t have that chance. But we have an opportunity at that moment to say what can we take from this.”
Speaking of the beautiful eulogy Costner gave at Houston’s funeral Moran said, “You also spoke to Bobbi Kristina and you directed some of your remarks to her.” “She’s chosen now to do a reality show. Do you think that’s a good idea?”
Surprisingly Costner said, “You know there’s no rules for how you’re gonna make it emotionally, and professionally, economically.” “She has people around her that adore her and protect her and they’ve obviously thought it through.”
As for himself Costner stated, “You know I don’t want to open my life up like that.” “But there might be something there for her. So that’s all you can hope is that this is a good decision. Once that decision’s made you hold your breath and you want it to be a good decision.”
Interview with Jennifer Lopez and Cameron Diaz
J-Lo and Cameron Diaz sat down with “Ellen” yesterday to discuss their new movie “What to Expect When You’re Expecting.”
“Did you know each other before?” said Ellen.
“We’ve met many times but we didn’t work together on this movie,” said Lopez. “Everybody had their own specific stories.”
“Both of you I know get along,” said Ellen. “Someone told me this morning that there’s all these rumors that you didn’t get along.” 
Diaz said that she doesn’t read or look at the print media. “I try not to actually,” said Diaz. “Knowing it’s complete lies that they made up on this movie that we wouldn’t talk to each other and there was all of these cat fights.”
“It’s always like that though, they always want women to be cat fighting,” said Diaz. “We live in such a misogynistic world. Especially the media always pinning women against one another.”
“Yeah because they don’t say that about men,” said Ellen.
Ellen brought up the question all “American Idol” fans are anticipating.
You were great on “Idol” the other night the performance was amazing, said Ellen. “Are you going to go back next year?” asked Ellen.
“I don’t know,” said Lopez.
“I hope you do because I think you say exactly the right things,” said Ellen.
“I enjoy it. Now this is my second year. I don’t know if I can go for a third year,” said Lopez. “I miss doing other things. It really does lock you down, which was nice the first year with the babies now their getting older and about to go to school, I just don’t know.”
In the movie “What to Expect When You’re Expecting” Lopez plays the role of a women who is ready to adopt a baby, and her husband’s not quite ready. “So that’s kind of the obstacle,” said Lopez.
“I really never thought about adoption before this movie,” said Lopez. “But after doing this role you can really see how people do it. Because before I just never really thought about it.”
Cameron does a lot of technical dancing in the movie with another man who is a professional dancer.
“So you could do Dancing with The Stars now?” said Ellen.
“Well, I already won a dance contest so I feel I don’t need to,” laughed Diaz.
Leaving a teaser for the movie at the end there, I’m assuming that’s a part of the movie.
“What to Expect When You’re Expecting” opens this Friday.
Kate Beckinsale shows her humorous side on “Ellen”
The beautiful long-haired brunette Kate Beckinsale appeared on “Ellen” today showing her humorous side. She wasn’t allowed to dance on “Ellen” today.
When she came out onto the stage Ellen asked Beckinsale why she didn’t dance or move quicker.
Beckinsale’s daughter won’t allow her to dance said the bright-eyed beauty. Lily, her daughter, just had her 13th birthday party and her mom (Beckinsale) was grinding and dancing with one of her own friends.
“You were grinding at your daughter’s birthday party?” laughed Ellen.
“That’s just what happens. When I feel it. I feel it,” smiled Beckinsale.
Her daughter Lilly has been in the U.S. for nine years however she
still has Beckinsale’s accent. “So I must talk a lot,” laughed Beckinsale.
“It’s a beautiful accent but it’s interesting that she hasn’t lost it yet,” said Ellen.
Beckinsale plays pranks on her husband director Len Wiseman. It seems like her husband is an extremely good sport.
“He must be a deep sleeper tell people what you do to him,” said Ellen.
Beckinsale loves to play pranks at night on her husband Len. “I find myself sitting in bed reading a book and he was passed out,” said Beckinsale. “I started out tame with just finger nail polish. Than I sort of progressed to full makeup and women’s underwear.” The audience laughed hysterically.
“Once I found out I could do the makeup then it got really crazy,” smiled Beckinsale. She’s even gone as far as to glue a beard to his face in his sleep once she found out she could put makeup on him.
“So he wakes up and he’s got a beard glued to him?” said Ellen.
“How does he get you back?” said Ellen.
“He’s not allowed to get me back,” said Beckinsale.
Suddenly one of Ellen’s employees came out while they were talking with a “This One’s for you Len” tee on. Beckinsale jumped out of her seat, stating she knew that was going to happen.
The new movie she’s in “Total Recall” is directed by Beckinsale’s husband Wiseman.
“There’s a sex scene with Colin Farrell,” said Ellen.
“It’s more of a sort of kissing in the bed,” said Beckinsale.
“Still with your husband directing and watching that must be very uncomfortable for your husband and for Colin,” stated Ellen.
“It’s definitely the third party coming in that’s more uncomfortable,” said Beckinsale. In this case that would be poor Colin Farrell.
“Total Recall” is coming out on August 3rd, 2012.
Carrie Underwood Talks Married Life on “Ellen” Yesterday
The gorgeous and extremely talented Carrie Underwood stopped by Ellen yesterday to talk about her marriage with Mike Fisher pro-hockey star.
“We’re doing well,” said Underwood regarding her marriage.

“And you’re cooking for him?” asked Ellen.
“I mean I definitely try,” said Underwood. ” I wanna be that mom someday that’s like oh my mom makes the best fill in the blank.” “So I would love to be that so I’m working on it,” said Underwood.
Suddenly the two women heard what sounded like a fire alarm. Ellen joked with Underwood, “See when you cook you have to get used to that sound.” Ellen and Underwood laughed hysterically.
“I was actually happy to hear that you are vegan and I’m vegan,” said Ellen.
“How is he taking that?”
“Obviously it’s one more, let’s make my life more complicated,” stated Underwood. “But he’s alright you know and he’s actually getting better. I’ll offer him something I’m making myself and he’ll say oh sure.”
“So now you have to really be a good cook,” joked Ellen.
As Underwood’s husband pro-hockey player Fisher is away a lot Ellen gave her a jersey with her husband’s name on it to sleep with.
“I saw you on Idol last week and you were fantastic,” said Ellen. “As you always are.”
Ellen asked Underwood, “Are you watching the show this season?”
“I do, I’m a fan before and now,” said Underwood.
Ellen asked Underwood how she felt about the incredible talent this season. “I mean I think this is the best year,” said Underwood.
“Who do you think will win?” inquired Ellen.
“They all occupy their own space their own genre of singing,” said Underwood.
Ellen complimented Underwood on how she’s blossomed every year.
“More beautiful, you sound beautiful and I just watch you get better and better,” said Ellen.
“It’s all about being beautiful on the inside and out,” said Underwood. “If everybody goes to the Olay facebook page basically declare your mom amazing. They will donate beauty products for women that are cancer patients,”said Underwood. “Which would be a hard time for any woman to feel beautiful,” she said. “That’s so important for you to love yourself so everybody wins.”
Strange Interview with Courtney Love on Access Hollywood
Courtney Love showed up today on Access Hollywood Live with Kit Hoover and Billy Bush.

The arrival of Love was late on the show. Love did bring her translator with her Linda Perry.
They showed them arriving casually, well Perry did.
Love had the audacity to ask Hoover “What is your name again?” to which Hoover replied, “Kit.”
Wow what disrespect to Hoover. Shouldn’t Love know what show she is on? Maybe she should have done some homework. Starting with the names of the reporters who would be interviewing her.
“You’ve been friends for a very long time?” asked Bush. “And partners too sometimes,” said Love. According to Love and Perry they’re domestic partners as well?
Love didn’t seem to like Bush at all telling him,”You’re looking very Hamptons.” That wasn’t supposed to be a nice comment by the way.
The reason the two women were on the show to begin with is for an event that they are planning.
“We’re doing an event,” said Perry. “With the L.A. gay and lesbian center called an evening with women, and we do it every year and it’s to raise awareness for the women’s programs at the center.”
“I really wanted to call up Love and it’s like our fifth year,” said Perry.
Love will be performing at the event with Camp Freddy and Dave Navarro.
Perry did almost all of the talking for Love who appeared absolutely disheveled and as high as a kite.
Love is an extremely easy person to anger. She began to anger as the answers to the reporter’s questions were basically asked of her “translator” Perry, and she seemed to get a little feisty with her friend.”I asked her one question in the car and it took like 45 minutes,” said Perry.
“I feel like a submissive little mouse,” said Love.
Bush showed an older clip of Love doing an interview which really upset Love. Another strike for Bush with Love.
Love did in fact have some incredibly strange things to say.”I get up in the morning and chant, and when I don’t do it, I get in trouble,” said Love.
“Courtney are you dating anyone?”asked Kit. Love didn’t want to answer that question.
Love and Perry were bickering the whole time. What was in Love’s coffee? They were able to actually talk with Perry whereas talking with Love was impossible.
At the end of the interview Love gave Perry the strangest hug. Perry even looked uncomfortable.

Johnny Depp on “Ellen” for the first time
The ever famous and clever Johnny Depp appeared on the “Ellen DeGeneres” show today for the first time. Depp had the crowd roaring, with a standing ovation.
Speaking of the boisterous crowd, Ellen joked “We took into account that there’s gonna be a lot so we accounted for the time.”

“I know you’re a pretty private guy. Pretty quite guy” said Ellen to Depp.
“Its always a little strange when you end up there out there in the world,” said Depp. “So I stay home a lot.”
“It’s a very different thing when you’re playing a character,” he said. “As a character you can do virtually anything but as yourself, you know.”
“You played some very iconic characters, and they’re always fantastical characters,” said Ellen. “Generally in the first ten pages of the script something hits something clicks and there’s something that you feel like you can that might not have been done before,” replied Depp.
Depp came up with a character for Willy Wonka. Former President George Bush was his inspiration for this character. Depp said,“The idea behind Willy Wonka, I image what George Bush would be like, said Depp. “Incredibly stoned.” The crowd roared with laughter as did Ellen.
“Captain Jack Sparrow lets talk about that,” said Ellen. “I love the humor that you add.”
“I’m a real sucker for anywhere where you can find irreverence or absurdity. I’ll stick it right in there,” said Depp with an enormous smile on his face.
“I know that you’re first love is music, said Ellen. Depp announced he’s played with famous stars like Alice Cooper and Marilyn Manson.
His new movie “Dark Shadows” stars Michelle Pfeiffer , who joined Depp on the show as well looking stunning as always.
“Johnny was on your bucket list to work with,” said Ellen.
Ellen asked Pfeiffer if working with Depp lived up to her expectations. “He put everyone at ease right away,” said Pfeiffer.
“Dark Shadows” comes out in theaters Friday. Incidentally this will be the eighth movie that him and Tim Burton have collaborated on together.
Former President Bill Clinton on “Ellen” Yesterday
Former President Bill Clinton made an appearance on the “Ellen DeGeneres” show yesterday discussing Bin Laden and driving. Two very different subjects, however Ellen approached Bin Laden professionally of course. She did start out the interview on a lighter note discussing Clinton’s inability to drive.

“What’s the one thing everyday that you wish you could do but you can’t because of who you are?” asked Ellen. “Drive,” said Clinton.
“Really you’re not allowed to drive?” asked Ellen.
“I mean if I wanna give up Secret Service protection for life I could do it,” said Clinton.
Ellen joked, “Can you drive in circles on your lawn?”
Clinton remarked, “That’s why whenever I’m on the golf course I always make em’ let me drive the golf cart.” The audience roared with laughter.
On a much more serious note, Ellen was curious to know how the former President found out about Bin Laden and how he reacted.
“When they got Bin Laden and their was a photograph that was released, how much time goes by before you found out that they got Bin Laden,” said Ellen. “Did you find out pretty quickly right away?”
“Yeah I’m trying to remember exactly when I was notified. But I’m pretty sure that I was notified by the White House not the State Department which is exactly the right thing.”
Hilary Clinton was not the one to tell him because he stated, “When Hilary became Secretary of State I said I don’t want any more briefings unless the National Security or the White House people want me to have it because I never want to inadvertently say something that complicates their job.” “She never said a word,” he said.
“What was your reaction when you heard it?” asked Ellen.
“It was a long saga for me deeply, personally, and emotional,” said Clinton. “And because I’m a New Yorker I knew people who died on 9/11.”
Linda Hogan on Access Hollywood Live-Where was Her Boyfriend Charlie?
Linda Hogan visited Access Hollywood for an interview with her boyfriend Charlie Hill. However, Charlie didn’t even appear on the show.
Billy Bush asked, “Why isn’t Charlie here he was supposed to come?”
Linda dodged the question with a strange answer. “I think he’s working,” she said.

Linda did appear with “Dr. Jen” to talk about the show she and Charlie are on together. The show incidentally is entitled VH1′s “Couples Therapy.”
American viewers were definitely entertained by a sneak peak of the show.
“Do you ever worry about Charlie not wanting you anymore?” asked Dr. Jen in the clip.
“One of my biggest fears was that you know if he does go on his own and goes dirt biking and does his thing or whatever that he may be attracted to a younger woman someday,” replied Linda during the clip.
Linda actually has some sense, of course this boy not man, will be attracted to a younger woman. Does she expect him to stick around and change her Depends? There is a 29-year-old age difference between the two bleached blond lovers.
The couple according to Linda, is still dating and have been for almost four years. Even though Linda is 52-years-old and boyfriend Charlie is 23-years-old she still thinks that one day they may get married.
“We’re not really ready to take the plunge for marriage yet,” said Linda. We’re just kind of feeling it out. We’re having fun. We’re enjoying our lives together.”
“How old was Charlie when you first met him?” asked Bush. “He was 19 and I was 48,” said Linda. The most disturbing part of this relationship is that the boy is the same age as her son.
Apparently the rumors of Charlie being her son’s friend are absolutely not true according to Linda. However the two boys did attend the same school.
Linda said that she met Charlie while taking a stroll on the beach with her son. “We didn’t think it would work out once I met him,” said Linda. “But he was an old soul.”
Linda dodged Kit Hoover’s question regarding what her son thinks about the relationship. Instead she just talked about herself and how depressed she was after her divorce.
Rumor has it her kids are not happy with the relationship between their mother and Charlie. Dodging the question was probably a good idea.
