Cee Lo Green talks Whitney and Women on “Ellen”
Cee Lo Green’s larger-than-life personality made quite the entrance yesterday on “Ellen.” The lively and funny character came out in bright pink pajamas with an entourage of showgirls.
“I see you brought some people with you,” laughed Ellen. “That’s probably the best entrance anybody’s ever had,” she smiled.
“The ladies love you. You’re quite the ladies man,” said Ellen. Cee Lo grinned, “I do appreciate women.”
Single Cee Lo made it clear that he loves his care-free lifestyle when it comes to the ladies. “I definitely enjoy being free,” he said.
Cee Lo showed his signature flirtatious personality with Ellen stating, “Ellen you have the most beautiful eyes.” “That’s what I’m talking about,” said Ellen. “Ladies man.”
Anyone who has seen the hit NBC show “The Voice” knows Cee Lo has a very free-spirited personality and loves to crack jokes.
When interviewed on “The Voice” Cee Lo always has a mysterious white cat sitting on his lap. Anyone who enjoys the show has to wonder where this cat came from. Regarding the little white prop he remarked, “It’s just me being funny.”
Cee Lo will be in the movie “Sparkle,” which incidentally is also the last movie Whitney Houston appeared in before her recent passing.
Whitney was a long-time friend of Cee Lo. He said, “I was helping her work on a solo album that may be released or maybe not.”
He told Ellen that he spoke with Houston only a few days before she passed. He sadly expressed to Ellen that he felt Houston’s death was untimely and very unfortunate. “God bless her soul she’ll always be one of my favorites,” he said. “She’s a queen.”
On a lighter note, he did enjoy watching the trailer of the movie “Sparkle.” “I look handsome,” he smiled.
